How Do Telecourses/Webcasts Work?

A telecourse is a series of conference calls. It’s like a continuing education course delivered on the telephone. Our telecourses include lecture, time for discussion questions, and class notes (a link to the download page will be emailed to you prior to the conference). When you register for the course, you’ll be given a conference call phone number to call, and a password to access the conference call.

We’ve now added a Webcast feature to our telecourses. This means the sound from the telephone call is streamed live through your computer. Just turn up your speakers and listen! You can communicate with us by typing your questions into a box on the Webcast page and we’ll answer you on the call. If you miss a live class you'll be able to listen to the recorded replay through your computer at your convenience.

As soon as you register for any of our courses please put info@AnimalBehaviorAssociates.com in your email address book or safe list to increase the chance our emails won’t be blocked. Once we receive notice of your payment, we’ll send you a Class Welcome and Information email. The link to the class notes will be emailed 1-2 days prior to the first session. If you haven't heard from us within 48 hours (weekdays) of your payment, please email us at info@AnimalBehaviorAssociates.com. Also, check your spam box.

If you join us by telephone, the cost to call the telecourse phone number is your regular long distance rate. To lower your long distance charges, consider purchasing a calling card online, which have rates as low as a penny /minute. We use these cards ourselves when conducting our telecourses. Click on the banner below.

Create a custom scheduled and custom designed single teleclass or telcourse on your choice of topics on animal behavior. This option is useful for any facility, business or organization looking for quality, yet cost-effective staff training in animal behavior. Examples include but certainly aren’t limited to veterinary clinics, animal shelters, doggie day care centers, and animal control agencies.

5 to 50 people may create and attend custom designed teleclasses or telecourses.
Fees are negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
